Moving to Monaco is a series of appointments, not a single decision
The address is one of them. The rest — residency, a bank, a school place, the registrations nobody warns you about — arrive in an order that is hard to see from outside, and most of them expect you to have an address already. We do this alongside clients often enough to know the sequence.

Five things come up every time. We take part in all of them — sometimes by making the introduction, sometimes by sitting in the appointment, sometimes by chasing the paperwork that has gone quiet.

Finding the home
The part we are actually licensed for, and the one everything else waits on: several of the steps below ask for a Monaco address before they will start. A good deal of what changes hands here is never advertised, so the search begins with your brief rather than with a list.

Residency and visas
Which route applies to you depends on your nationality and your circumstances, and the conditions are set by the Principality rather than by us — so we point you at the official source and, where it helps, at a lawyer who does this for a living. What we do is assemble what the application needs from our side, and keep the address, the lease and the timing lined up with it.

Opening a bank account
Monaco banks are relationship businesses, and an introduction from someone they already deal with is worth more than a form. We make that introduction to institutions we work with, and tell you honestly which of them is likely to suit the shape of your affairs. What they ask of you, and what they decide, is theirs.

Schools
The Principality has state schools, an international school and several options a short drive over the border, and the right answer depends on your children’s ages, their languages and how long you expect to stay. Places are finite and the calendar matters. We help you shortlist, we make the introductions, and we factor the school run into where you look — which is the part an address search usually forgets.

The administration, whatever it turns out to be
Utilities, the syndic, a residence card renewal, a parking permit, registering a vehicle, a document that has to be translated or certified. None of it is difficult and all of it is unfamiliar, and it is the category that quietly takes the most time. Ask us — if it is not ours to do, we know whose it is.
